Would anyone be able to tell me the new times the reviews go up so I can work it out for my time zone?

(ngl I'm sad Mark's moved the times earlier as Watches at least used to suit me perfectly but now it looks like it's at a really bad time for me :( )

I have a feeling Mark will post the review of the first Sherlock episode on Monday - he usually does that when there's a liveblog during the weekend...

HAPPY 2012 ALL.
A firework landed on my roof last night and I let everyone in the vicinity know by shouting "THE FUCKING ROOF IS ON FIRE"
Luckily the drizzly rain put it out.
Any other New Year stories?
It's fun to see how many actors who appeared in Buffy end up in their own shows - such as Behr in Lie To Me later starred in Roswell High. They are all permanently teenagers!

No reviews tomorrow, unfortunately. We have to wait a little longer.
I just felt like saying I feel very lucky to be a part of this community with all of you! Thank you!
Also, I can't stop listening to "Waiting For A Star To Fall- Boy Meets Girl" after hearing it on the radio earlier - what is wrong with me?!?! Cannot ... Stop...

*stares blankly ahead*

Fifteen hour red-eye flight. I feel dead.

Also...behind on Buffy and LoTR...too tired to catch up...must sleep now.
Spoilers for all of Joss' shows in the response.

So I have to wonder how much Mark knows about Aragorn and whether that name was familiar to him. I'm afraid to ask, though, because I don't want to give anything away about how important he is to the book as a whole.

Whoa, um, MAJOR spoilers going on in the ads on watches today. Also sorries if I'm literally the last one to notice that, I'm late to this post because of baking.

Mark is going to hate the shit out of Inca Mummy Girl. I watched it again last night, the second time ever, and was flabbergasted by how much more awful it was than I remembered. It was always bad, but the years had let me forget just how bad.

I don't have a facepalm gif strong enough for all the Oz flailing in today's review. I cannot even stem the tide at this point. WAY TO GIVE MARK THE IMPRESSION THAT HE BECOMES IMPORTANT LATER.

Holy spoilers. I did not expect such an explosion of JONATHAN! He's in one scene, doesn't get named until What's My Line, and doesn't get any development as a character until late season 3 (I believe). You have my sympathies for keeping this one under control, mods

So I was sad yesterday that I couldn't be there for the review to start a meeting of the Joyce Summers Appreciation Club (not that sad, though, as I was in Disneyland), only to find that Mark himself did it for me in the post!

Yesssss. Mark is the best.
Ugh. Someone at the Mark Reads is accusing Lúthien of being just a pretty face and that "her worth seems to be appearance-based". They're actually even comparing her to Goldberry! WTF??? :@ :@ :@

I'm missing intensedebate email notifications for recent replies to my comments; just wondering if this is the case for others as well or if I'm alone in having issues.

Y'aaaaaall...it is probably good that the Council of Elrond is going up on a Monday so Mark has the whoooooooooole weekend to read the review and write it, because: LOL.

HA! I just realized that with the days taken off, Becoming is now going to be split over the weekend. How does Mark manage to do this every time.

did

did I really just

see a comment from someone stating that they're sick of seeing the episodes "picked apart from a radical feminist viewpoint"?

WHY ARE YOU EVEN ON MARK'S SITE IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT SORT OF THING. :S

Heads up to mods, since there's so many of us that hang out here: Mark has a new post on the (private, sorry to the rest of y'all) forum asking for general suggestions for everything pertaining to MDS. Go forth and say everything that's come up about things/suggestions Mark should know.

(There's a Cowboy Bebop thing just for you, arctic_hare. Okay, maybe others too, but mostly arctic_hare.)

EDIT: if anyone has suggestions for Mark, I can relay them.
