Weekly Summary (which needs a better name)

This week on Mark Watches

Episode Reviews
Monday: Doctor Who - The Wedding of River Song (series 6 finale)
Tuesday: Battlestar Galactica - Torn
Wednesday: Battlestar Galactica -A Measure of Salvation
Thursday: Battlestar Galactica - Hero
Friday: Battlestar Galactica - Unfinished Business
Saturday: Fringe - Alone in the World
Liveblog
Friday: Fringe - Alone in the World

While over on Reads, Mark continues American Gods.

Everyone already does it anyway (seriously you people are great for spoiler warnings) but just a quick reminder since we’re back into the swing of the American TV schedule, if you’re discussing a show (eg, Community, SPN, etc.) that is currently airing, or a future Mark Verbs project, make sure to give a warning at the start of the thread for what episode it has spoilers for, as some people (myself included) can fall behind in our totally *cough* legal means *cough* of watching them.
You’re all amazing anyway and I’m sure affableevil would agree require the least modding ever.

Does anyone know when Mark will be posting his review for Storm of Swords? I FINALLY caught with him (900+ pages per book is exhausting)

I really like this idea - the old thread was fun but the size was making it unwieldy. Weekly posts feel juuuuuuuuust right :)

It's true, you guys are a dream to moderate! Dance party?

Doctor Who from River's point of view, as narrated by Alex Kingston. If you didn't catch the confidential and still are confused.

So I finally buckled down and watched 'Rose' to get started on Doctor Who. I hope you are all happy, for I will never ever have a life until I catch up now!

I'm curious, which of Mark's future projects is everyone most looking forward to? (Out of everything he's confirmed, obviously).

I think I'm most excited for Princess Tutu. It's really different from everything else he's done so far, but I'm confident he'll like it. Makes me wish I hadn't quit ballet when I was little. Also, I just like the idea of more people watching it, period.

What about you all? Buffy, or the Hobbit/LOTR, or maybe Sandman? Something else?

Because we were talking about Hitchhiker's above, and I needed to share this.

Also, if anyone else has any fanvids, of any shows/movies they'd like to share, feel free.

Mark Watches: Battlestar Galactica -A Measure of Salvation

Oh Helo.
(Update on my Who status)

Wow, the Doctor was an ass at the end of 'World War Three'. Sit down and drink some damn tea with Jackie, Nine. Won't kill you.

Nice to see Mickey be instrumental in success, though.

Sherlock Series 2 poster! *flails*

They'd better give us airing date soon. Personally I'm betting February/March...

I've had DW's "Goes the Clock" song stuck in my head for a while, and when it started mutating to the lyric's of Kesha's 'Tick Tock' I was kind of freaked out. 'cept it turns out some fans have already done that, so I feel less weird.

Now the TARDIS don't start 'till I walk in...

(Spoilers for Season 6)

You know, does 'Weekly Summary' really need a different name? It seems pretty descriptive to me.

If we want an alternative, how about 'Geeky Weekly Funtimez'? XD

>Just finished 'Dalek'

>Wanted to find that "I don't know what my feelings are doing" gif where the 'D' of the emoticon rotates but the google was weak with this one today so you will just have to pretend that it's here.

Totally off-topic:

I finally made those Stephen Fry GIFs I meant to make a long time ago, because I feel exactly the same very often when confronted with blatant stupidity and irrationality. :D

Mark Watches: Battlestar Galactica - Unfinished Business

In which apparently everyone was happy at one stage. And then they really, really weren't.
Mark Reads American Gods Chapter 12

Holy wow, so much foreshadowing, Batman!
Music recommendations

I won a voucher last week for amazon (yay me I rarely win anything) and want to use some of it to get into some new music (I have too many books to read already), so I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I'll give most types of music a go and youtube is always there to explore if I like someone or not so feel free to suggestion the most mainstream thing going or the most obscure band you can think of.
