CAN WE JUST PRETEND THIS EPISODE NEVER HAPPENED? LIKE... NONE OF US COMMENT ON THE REVIEW AND IF MARK MENTIONS DONNA IN THE FUTURE JUST BE LIKE "LALALA WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT SHE'S JUST IN THE TARDIS POOL"

NOT PREPARED.

NOT EVER.

I JUST CAN'T.

It makes me so sad and angry all at once.
THIS EPISODE KILLS ME. I don't even know if I want to post anything besides responses to other's comments because it is so frustrating and tragic. :(

DONNA
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I'm writing my review right now and I'm worried that I'm going to be a bit of a debbie downer since when I sit down and think about the episode it's largely negative. There's some things I think I'll end up leaving out because I wouldn't be sure how they'd go down but I haven't really said anything majorly positive yet. I'm fighting the temptation to just post sad gifs for my review.

DONNAAAA! That's basically going to be my response to that part of the episode.

This is easily my longest comment so far and will probably be the last one of this length I do, assuming I don't talk myself out of posting this one (which I'm very close to doing).

DONNA FANFIC FIX-IT TIME! Post your recs:

And because apparently the only thing I read in DW fandom is crossovers, Donna remembers in both the Stargate Atlantis and Supernatural universes.

My comment is basically just a fanart fix-it and sad gifs. :(
I didn't see half of that 'who knew' and the 'my life would suck without you' video. I was crying too much. I'm possibly over reacting. but I don't think I am. I don't think there is anything I've seen on television, or in films, or read in books that is as sad as this episode. I just. I can't. I can't think about it without crying. And every time I see those clips of Donna slapping the Doctor, or them laughing together, or grinning or...or just any time when they had fun...they all make me want to cry. Donna. Oh Donna.

On a lighter note, one of the headlines in my local paper today was "Drugs in short supply". Not gonna lie, one of the first thoughts that popped into my head was "Rose must've popped by for a visit."

I have a love/hate thing going for this ep. On one hand I love most of it. I mean everyone's gathered together, the companions are doing their awesome thing, Mickey and Jackie are there, and how can you not find the scene with all the Doctor's friends piloting the Tardis with him beaming at all of them adorable? Bad science, totally. but adorable nonetheless.
But on the other hand: DONNA. ;endless tears;
Who just got out of work early just so they could be here in time for Mark's review? Not me, I don't know what you're talking about.

This is the only thing that will keep my comments today from being utterly tragic.

I watched Journey's End last night, I read the last chapter of Mockingjay this morning. I feel like nothing will ever be alright again. I hope that Mark picks a happy Classic Who.

Oh man, I'm going to be out of town for The Mind Robber and the first half of S5. D: Hopefully, I'll still be able to post normally. : (

Guys I hate that he always hits the finales on Mondays. I'm at work when he posts and then I have to run off to soccer in the evenings, so I only get this small window to jump in on the finale fun!
Totally OT, but whatever, I know some people here watch Supernatural, and it's probably amusing even if you're not familiar with the players.

So, if I understand the tweets correctly, Charlie Sheen joked/pretended on twitter he wrote a book about having threesomes, and linked a picture of the book in question. Misha Collins (who plays Castiel) retweeted it, and added "No u didn't, douche bag, my wife did."

Now I actually knew before his wife did write a book about threesomes, but how amazing is this scenario? I love twitter if only because random interactions between famous people can make me lol. And I looove Misha and his fucking ridiculous life.

Also not totally on topic, but you know the epic imitations of each other that Catherine Tate and David Tennant do in this episode? I was watching Dollhouse yesterday, that episode ("The Left Hand", in the second season) where Topher imprints Victor with his (Topher's) own personality so he can be in both the LA and DC Dollhouses at once and holy god. Enver Gjokaj, who plays Victor, deserves some kind of special award for that performance. He had Fran Kranz's voice, intonations, physicality, mannerisms, EVERYTHING down perfectly. It's spectacular and completely hilarious, since both Tophers are completely aware that there are two of them, and they're playing off each other. I wish I could find a video of it, but I can't. It manages to make Tennant/Tate pale in comparison.
