Spoilers (
Upon discovering that there are exactly zero videos that I like that go along with 'Voyage of the Damned' I found myself with a quandary. What do I post in this section? Do I forgo the Doctor Who part and show a clip of an anime (Evangelion) mecha destroying the Titanic?
Do I just post the music video for 'My Heart Will Go On?'
Do I post one of the many many many videos of the Doctor being all emo about one or more lost companion while 'My Heart' plays?
(Not embedding that one. Emo for the sake of being an emo!Doctor is not my thing.)
So what does one do when there are no good videos to embed?
MAKE YOUR OWN!
So I downloaded Windows Live Movie Maker, found a remix of 'My Heart Will Go On,' and spent two hours cutting like a crazy person to fit the 70 minute monstrosity that is the Christmas Special to fit into 3 minutes.

Now to find something else to distract me from studying for my exam!

I seriously hope nobody explains who Wilf is. Then Mark gets to be surprised when watching Partners In Crime. Which reminds me, does anyone know if the original scenes with Donna's father (the ones they reshot with Wilf) are on Youtube? I remember looking for them a while back and not finding them.

So, the ep's about a high school teacher who is really well-liked by the protagonist (Veronica), but he gets accused of sleeping with a student. And so Veronica tries to prove that he didn't since he's such a great teacher and she doesn't want it to be true. But it turns out he did sleep with a student.
Right, so my soph year of high school, I had a really awesome English teacher. Senior year, we got to pick which English class we wanted to take, so I chose the senior english class I knew he was teaching, since he was an awesome teacher.
Do you see where this is going? The first couple days of school that year he was there, then we got a sub, then we got a new sub, and it continued, and then the story came out: the teacher was accused of sleeping with a student, and ultimately went to jail.
And I didn't want to believe it since he was so awesome of a teacher. Ugh, this episode. It's actually really hard to watch now.
Well, if Mark does review VM (I say 'if' cause it's slated far in the future, and we don't even have his lineup past Buffy), then you all already know which anecdote I'm sharing.
(Worst part? The teacher's wife was also a teacher at the high school, and his mother-in-law was the head librarian of the school.)
Anyway, this has apparently become the space on the internet that I turn to when I have something to share.
