I'm enjoying in! Its always fun to see sprawling superhero universes, and the characters seem really fun. I'm liking Miss Martian a lot, too. Only criticism I can really give is that in the pilot some of the voice acting could be a bit wooden, and it was rather bereft of female characters.

And now things get difficult. Liz vs. Lucille? Robin vs. Abed? Gus vs. Leslie? Tami vs. Katniss? Scully vs. Donna? Zoe vs. Olivia? Let's see how things are going...

Liz has a narrow lead over Lucille. Abed has a narrow lead over Robin. Leslie is trouncing Gus.

...Miranda is beating Sheldon? I only HEARD of Miranda because of last year's FMM. Has anyone here watched it? It does seem funny from the GIFs.

Santana has a narrow lead over Lorelai, WHAT. Katniss is beating Tami. Donna is beating Scully. Sansa is beating Starbuck (what IS it with this Sansa character?).

ZOE HAS A NARROW LEAD OVER OLIVIA NOOOOO. I keep wanting Olivia to go all the way, SHE DESERVES IT FOR BEING AWESOME. But Zoe is also awesome...but Olivia has been awesome for so much longer and in so many different ways.

Parker and Kate are currently TIED. Damn, this will be a good one. GO PARKER GO.

2012 FANDOM STEEL CAGE MATCH MARCH MADNESS SWEET 16!

Recap of the last round: Mostly everything is terrible and all brackets are null.

Now, however, things get REALLY difficult. Liz vs. Abed! Veronica vs. Hermione! Wait, actually, things aren't too difficult since I only know one character for most of these bouts now.

And early leads go to...Abed, Leslie, Hermione, Katniss, Donna, Sansa, CJ, and Mary. Closest races are Liz vs. Abed and John vs. CJ at the moment, but it does look like Hermione will be facing off against Katniss, which is kind of awesome, and I have a feeling Sansa is going to claw herself into the Final Four before being destroyed by the Hermione juggernaut. Hermione vs. Sansa in the last round, just watch.

Recap of the last round: Sansa beat Zoe by a mere 62 votes. But note this:

LJ does this wonderful thing where once the votes get high enough, it starts sorting by the date the journal was created. So ALL new journals get sorted to the bottom, which makes it so much simpler for me to count those votes out.

Alas, even discounting the new journals, Sansa defeated Zoe.

Abed vs. Leslie! Hermione vs. Katniss! Donna vs. Sansa! John vs. Mary! LET THE BLOODSHED BEGIN.

The early leads go to...Leslie (probably a clear win), Hermione (clear win), Donna (this one will be tight), and Mary (sizable lead, but could get interesting).

That is in fact a remix but I think it's beautiful and pretty true to the original, just with a more electronic feel, and I am a sucker for some synth (Depeche Mode, case in point). Spent my whole day home doing coursework and glorious synth is giving me back a bit of energy. Settle Down, Good Intents and Cameo Lover are the ones I'd recommend above all others

Alright, my thoughts I wrote as I watched 2x02 of Downton Abbey below :) I love this show so much.

I finished watching the first series with my mom last night, who asked me today when she got home from work "So...when does the second season come out?" and I told her it did already, and that I would get it when I had the money to spare, which would be probably in 2 weeks, and after like five minutes she said "...So if I give you my ATM card would you go and get it now?" Lucky I had money left on my Best Buy gift card so it cost the same as a regular dvd would (and also the first season).

Finished the first disk tonight :) And she hasn't fallen asleep through any of them! And she always ALWAYS dozes off a bit every like half hour or so normally.

I'm obviously not going to call out any specific comments, because of uncoolness, and also because that would take forever, but honestly, the drama in the comments at Watches has progressed to the point where just *watching* the shows doesn't really give me much joy or enjoyment, it's stressful and unpleasant on some level. Watching other shows brings relief and comfort that's related to my inability to really enjoy Buffy and Angel anymore. It's at that point that I realize... it's time to stop. It's time to walk away, for good this time, till Mark moves on to another show. I'm going to just focus my energies on Sandman and let that work its healing magic on me.

Can I just have a brief moment to say how wonderful any TVTropes page for a fake work or something written in character is?

I mean, its good enough to read GLaDOS's character page as written by a science-obsessed homicidal robot, but things such as "Inspector Spacetime", "Disney's Anne Frank" and the supposed Show-Within-A-Show from Young Justice "Hello Megan!" are hilarious.
