Oh god now Voodoo Child is stuck in my head. I didn't even watch the video, just seeing the image was enough.
<3

I've got my comment written out already, all loaded up with Master gifs. :D Boy, have I got a lot, I held some back there. Some because of spoilers! Mustn't post the "I Can't Decide" ones till Monday, after all. I refuse to spoil a damn thing for him.

D:< Some people, argh. Though at least we can be happy that no one blew the Saxon reveal. OH THE KEYSMASHING WILL BE EPIC.
Soooo excited! I'm going to write the most epically long comment after Last of the Time Lords. I'm too worried about accidentally spoiling things to leave any long ones until the whole arc is finished XD
I can't wait for the inevitable keyboard smashing. I'm going to have so much to say after Last of the Time Lords. I was going to link to the Harold Saxon website because it has all the videos and pictures along with some info from the episode on it but it appears to not exist anymore :(

Voodoo Child is THE BEST WAY TO START A INVASION/REVOLUTION.

You know.. if the people of England (Correction: Great Britain) ever decide to overthrow their government, parliament, the monarchy.. whatever.. for whatever reason - I HOPE IT'S A DOCTOR WHO THEMED REVOLUTION.
"I want to know what the Doctor whispers to Martha."

If someone decides to go ahead and tell him in the comments I'm going to scream.

I seem to remember one of these episodes.. if not another where the Master appears.. as having the drum beat specifically modified to be MORE apparent during the opening sequence. Is this just me making shit up or did this actually occur?

God, I'm so sorry for posting a small spoiler. I thought the drums matching Time Lord heart beats was just a generally accepted thing amongst fans. I can't even remember what episode it's mentioned in so I didn't realise but so so sorry. *hides in shame*

Okay, so, I've been kind of quiet the past two reviews because those episodes are inextricably tied to TLotTL for me, which is just-- my least favorite of the series finales, to put it mildly. I also don't want to the sour love-fest either. So I guess what I'm asking is, ~am I alone~ or are you all just a lot better at dividing the awesome from the suck?

I just wanted to share this with everyone. It's an entry in the Fridge Brilliance for Doctor Who section of tv tropes, and I kind of love it.

"Add this to the fact that for all it's thrown about being overly messianic, it's not just an ass pull with the Doctor going all Crystal Dragon Jesus on us to save humanity - he was saved by humans first. I find it rather appealing that rather than just be expected to be ingratiated and humbled by this Messianic figure who saved our souls (which is an issue in some interpretations of religion that has always bugged me, and may have led to the some of the less than flattering interpretations of this episode), we actually had to save him before he could do anything. Essentially, humanity saved themselves."

New post, in case you're talking about stuff in swimmingtrunk's threaded comment, and are tired of how indented your comments are getting! (118 comments on this page total, and 103 of them are in that thread as of 11:12 pm PST)

Talk about random TV, fanfic, pics and gifs, whatever we've been doing.

And because we've had lots of cool discussions, including disagreements, but it's been quite enjoyable regardless of which side one's on, relavent pic is relavent.

Over in Torchwood series 1, the episode "Captain Jack Harkness", there are a couple of "Vote Saxon" posters slapped on the door of the abandoned dance hall.
