My mind is blown.

Promo is up on the BBC website but the prequel's regioned off. Hopefully it'll be up on youtube soon enough.

I have still not recovered. I legit did not understand half the things said in the last twenty minutes but I'm pretty sure they were all awesome.
(What I did understand and totally loved was GangerDoctor ('John Smith' XD) talking like Four ('jelly baby!') and Ten in the beginning. Actually, I just totally loved 'John Smith'. Him and the Doctor finishing each other's sentences was gold.)
So I liked pretty much everything about that episode, and especially Amy's interactions with the Doctors since I was missing moments between her and Eleven. Except the end pregnancy ward thing.

Just hits too many squicky scifi pregnancy moments for me.

Also, I don't know if I actually like that ganger!Amy reveal, but from an audience standpoint it is really interesting and means a lot of people are now going to rewatch all the previous S6 episodes - and possibly S5, too. And I did like that the plaid meant something, which I frankly assumed it did, since it was weird.

There's a bit of me that is just...but all that time it wasn't the real Amy and now I feel a bit cheated. But then that's missing the point of this two-parter, which is actually really awesome of the writers to do that. And that's interesting to me since I'm really used to these 'replica human' type stories, but I don't think I've ever been put in this position that so parallels the story.

Nobody ever pointed out that Ganger!Jen was no better than the humans when she created another Ganger of herself just to be killed to get Rory's trust.
Wow, my mind is reeling. I liked pretty much everything about the episode, but the last few minutes are all that I can think about. Just how long has Amy been a Ganger? I'm guessing that's the reason the Doctor dropped the Ponds off for a few months. I have no proof, just a gut feeling.
Also, I think it's possible that Rory's known all along. It would had an extra layer to his bond with Ganger Jen, and I don't think that he would have stepped away from her to let the Doctor Sonic her. (Does the Doctor have more than one now, he gave one to his Ganger a few moments earlier?)

Here's my understanding of the Timeline so far, correct me if I'm wrong.
*The Doctor Drops the Ponds off for two? months, then they get the invitation to the desert.
*They spend three months chasing the Silence
*Space Pirates
*The Doctor's Wife
*This two Parter
