Thoughts? I honestly can't say that I am upset, or that I even care. The Marvel Netflix series have been a disappointment overall, despite excellent casting and flashes of brilliance here and there. Their tone is grim and dour and their plots meander too much. I'm currently trying to get through S2 of Luke Cage and it's a slog. The fact that they botched The Defenders still boggles my mind.
Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter had a much better approach to bringing Marvel to TV IMO.
I hope they'll find a way to maybe integrate the characters into the movies going forward. What a shame to lose Mike Colter as Luke Cage, in particular.
