A complete Big Eyes, Small Mouth one-shot campaign (approximately 4-6 hours for a single play-through), this 140+ page PDF contains everything needed to play except pencils and dice, including a guide to the relevant BESM rules, character sheets for the seven player character options (Chun-Li from Street Fighter, Link from Zelda, Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney, Red from Pokemon, Samus from Metroid, Terra from Final Fantasy VI, and Zero from Mega Man X), and encounter, location, and scenario information for the GM. Set in Videoland from the classic Captain N cartoon, the game's plot changes depending on what combination of characters the players pick. (Deliberately mixes fake and real spoilers to avoid spoiling people who aren't familiar with every series it draws from.)
Also last week I wrote a pitch for an original graphic novel and submitted it to Oni Press. I'm not sharing that publicly, though.

So I put the question out to you all: what have you been reading lately?
I'm reading am independently published book that I picked up at Oz ComicCon. It's called Key by Kylie Leane, a local girl here. It's her first novel aaaaand? It shows. I really have this desire to just red pen all over the book because it desperately needs some editing or beta work or something. But still! Girl published her first novel! Respect!

I'm thinking of starting up my verb reviews/ commentaries again (for Numb3rs, Leverage, etc.), part. as I am also playing Watch Dogs right now and was contemplating doing a verb review of it as well.
That said, I was going through the game just fine (it's not perfect, and some parts were quite irksome, but I suspected as much when I started the game) and then I reached a point where the game left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm wondering when I'll get over it enough to keep playing. That's right. The teaser for Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events show has premiered, and it is amazing. TW for bugs, including spiders, larve, and a very gross looking leech.

For those who don't know what it is, here's the trailer. It has almost all the trigger warnings Dollhouse has. Especially the consent and sexual abuse ones. (It's not glorified or excused though. But still.)
