On the one hand I am elated because it really is an amazing story well deserving of greater exposure. On the other hand I am extremely leary of MTV trying to get a slice of the high fantasy pie.

Because tomorrow is the first day of my new rotation and I am hella unprepared. I did, however, finish the final that is due tomorrow, and make a decent contribution to our final project for the other class which is due on Tuesday. I broke down and watched the TOS episode for tomorrow because my mind was so not ready for studying after that, but now I have to face the music and start prepping for tomorrow's adventure. My preceptor asked me to review my oncology notes, which are extensive and I certainly won't be able to review them all in the next hour; I hope he won't hold that against me but we shall see tomorrow :-/

And now I'm in that stage of obsession where I am trying to find ALL OF THE FANWORKS. I also downloaded the sheet music for the "Na Raq, Bapr naq Sbe Nyy" track from the ME3 soundtrack and played through it a few times on my keyboard (and sobbed).
So bring on the recs for fic and art and vids please!

This specific thread I thought to make just to put in my random season one thoughts, as I didn't bother to use episode titles in tagging them on tumblr (which is something I used to do, and I think I'll start that now)

I don't know why this is so surprising to me; I know a lot of HP fic authors who write profic now. I think it's because most of the HP-fic-turned-pro-writers were ones I knew about before I read their books. This is the first time I've read the book and THEN found out the author used to write fic; and this is ESPECIALLY the first time it's happened with Sailor Moon, which is kind of a nostalgia fandom for me in that it was so long ago.

I started off with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World
Which despite looking like the above, even after one episode actually surprised me by being completely enjoyable. A good plot (based on a classic novel), great characters and a cast with great chemistry
