Game giveaway.

In cleaning up my Humble Bundle purchases ahead of the Steam Sale I've come across a bunch of duplicate keys. So time for a giveaway. Please respond to this post with any of the below you want to be entered for. I'll do a random draw of some sort late in the week (not before Friday to give time for people to enter, but don't want to commit to a day yet) but might weight it a bit depending on how many people enter and how many games people are interested in. Please list the games in order of interest, from most to least, just to make it easier for me.

The games;
Audiosurf (Steam gift, will need to contact you directly on Steam)
BIT.TRIP RUNNER (you will need to link a Humble account to your Steam to activate)
FTL: Faster Than Light (Steam key)
LIMBO (Steam key)
Bastion (Steam key)
Amnesia: Dark Descent (Steam key)
The Showdown Effect (Steam key)

Will work out how winners should contact me/be contacted individually later, but probably best to do it all through Steam. The keys and Humble link can all be shared by email or any other private channel if needed.

THE NEW BANNER ON MARK WATCHES YOU GUYS

"To boldly watch what everyone has watched before" is such a brilliant motto for the site I kind of hope we keep using it after Star Trek is over.

So this weekend I may have binge-watched all of Dollhouse season 2... This was perhaps not the best decision. My brain and feels and soul hurt.

I am so glad I decided to do this the hard way and end-to-end revise my paper; I just realized that a whole section of what I wrote is completely irrelevant because the drug in question is an antipsychotic not an anticonvulsant. My preceptor already has dubious belief in my ability to write a drug information response, so confusing two classes of medication would not go over well.
I just finished S9 of Supernatural.

Hi everyone! Just a PSA regarding spam on MR/MW posts: we know it exists. There is rather quite a lot and we understand you wanting us to know about it but please do not report every single one. We get an individual email for each report, and reporting every item floods our inboxes. (I had to reroute those emails straight to my trash last night after receiving more than 100 emails while I was trying to write a paper. There are now almost 200 emails in my trash all since about 3AM EST.) If there is more than one spam comment on a page, report 1 item and include that there is multiple spam on the page. Thank you!

Has anyone else here ever had the occasion to suddenly realise that they really miss libraries?

Because that's the state of mind I'm kind of in right now.

I have an interview on Wednesday for a short temp-job. I'm afraid to be optimistic about it - but I'm hoping for the best.

I also have to get the fuel pump in my car replaced (they're not going to get to it until tomorrow) - which is like $700.

Anyone out there still interested in doing a Spoils Reads Fruits Basket project? (I've been gone a long time due to student teaching and other time-sucking things...)

Back from Prague, and wanted to discuss something kind of random. Trigger warnings for body image issues and stuff.

So, Teen Wolf tonight.

Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at, but I will be watching, so let's see if they can pull me back in.

Question for everyone! I am considering creating some Mark playlists in my Youtube account, to make it easier to get to videos on my phone (especially if I fall behind). The idea is that I'll create a playlist for each book/fanfic/thing and add the new videos to them as they come up, so then I can watch in whatever order I want later and not have to search and/or scroll wayyyy down on the feed to find them. Especially for the youtube-only things, where the organization of posts on the actual MarkReads site cannot save you from the annoyances of youtube!

So my question is this: is anybody else "curating" any Mark Reads playlists? Have ideas for collaborating on this sort of thing? It seems like it would be a neat resource to share around.

You know that feeling when you're with someone and you think you might like them and you're unsure whether they like you too and you choke and swallow a bug in front of them? Yeah.

The comedy writes itself.
