Also I did the math, Mark is going to review "The Body" the week I go home from school. Which means I'll be with my mom the day he posts it. Which means I won't be a complete emotional wreck because at least I'll be able to go give my mom a hug. Yes. Good. (THANK GOD)
(And thankfully my mom will understand because she's a huge Buffy fan. It's nice to share fandoms with parents sometimes.)

In anticipation for finally going to see The Avengers tomorrow, I am on a Marvel kick. Finally watched Iron Man 2--I was surprised by a lot of the negative reviews it got. It certainly has its flaws, but I really enjoyed it and thought it was a worthy sequel. And the banter between Tony and Pepper omg just marry already. I love Don Cheadle, but I wished they stayed consistent with the actors. Siiigh.
Which makes me hesitant to watch The Incredible Hulk, which I know is the lead-in for Hulk's character, but the fact that he's not played by Mark Ruffalo would probably bother me. I saw a youtube video where they were going to introduce the actors who played the characters, and I read a comment for the video where they actually booed Ruffalo and I couldn't watch because why would you boo Mark Ruffalo? I wouldn't have been able to bear it.
So I still need to see Captain America, Thor, and TIH. NONE OF WHICH ARE ON NETFLIX. What the hell, Netflix? You'd think they would be there or OnDemand seeing as The Avengers is a huge hit.
Wow I've missed a lot of superhero movies lately, which is strange because I usually tend to love Marvel movies. Although honestly I haven't been this excited since X-Men (Last Stand why do you exist? you could have been perfect LOOK AT YOUR PREDECESSOR)
Also, looks like Captain America and the Fantastic Four are not hanging out anytime soon. On account that Captain America has also been secretly Johnny Storm this whole time.

OH MY GOD IT IS SUCH A TIME CAPSULE. Not just in the clothes and hair, though... yeah (Tweets from yesterday: "DUNCAN MACLEOD CAN WE DISCUSS YOUR MULLET." "DUNCAN MACLEOD CAN WE DISCUSS YOUR MOM JEANS") but the opening credits, basically done in Flash, and the DVD screens, which are... well, it was a difficult time for us all.
I really think it would be hystarical for Mark to watch just a couple episodes- I'm finding the nostalgia factor is keeping me amused more than anything else (and the knowledge that it does get better?) and he might get frusterated at the entire run.
I do miss the early 90s adventure genre. That was good stuff.

This has to be Warren. He's just the absolute worst kind of person. The fact that he's a person rather than a demon makes him even more horrible. I won't go in to details, since the newbies haven't met him yet. But he is awful. Not even in a love to hate way. It's all hate.

My first answer is Buffy and Willow. I love these two and their love for each other so much. From the first moment when Buffy decides to befriend Willow because Cordy was being mean to her, to her rock solid belief at the end that Willow is the most powerful person she knows, Buffy has always supported Willow. And Willow has always done her best to help Buffy save the world any way she can, eventually realizing that she wants to do it for her own reasons, too. Their friendship was by no means perfect. They had some patches, they drifted apart and came back together. But they always found a way to work through it. I think their bond was stronger for all the trials they went through while growing up.
My second answer is Tara and Dawn. And maybe this doesn't exactly fall under friendship, since theirs isn't exactly a relationship of equals. But I think that's mostly due to their age difference in the show, which would eventually have become less significant as Dawn grew up. Either way, Tara was so wonderful to and for Dawn. She took care of her in a very special way, making funny-shaped pancakes and thumb wrestling outside the Magic Box. And it's surprisingly difficult to talk about their relationship without referencing spoilers. Suffice to say that their scenes together warm my heart.

This one is really tough. If we're being honest all of these characters are really, really bad at romance. Angel turns abusive, prompting Buffy to send him to hell. Giles and Jenny struggle with the lies and secrets in their past that keep throwing their relationship off course. Xander cheats on Cordy, Willow cheats on Oz, and Willow and Xander are running around hiding what they're doing. Then Oz cheats on Willow and skips town. Spike uses and abuses Harmony, keeping her around to exercise his own fantasies. Buffy and Riley's inability to communicate leads to an explosive break up. Knaqre yrnirf Naln ng gur nygre. Jvyybj renfrf Gnen'f zrzbel gb svk n svtug, gura nggrzcgf gb qb vg ntnva jura Gnen svaqf bhg. Fcvxr nyzbfg encrf Ohssl.
With everyone being terrible to each other, it can be hard to pick a relationship I like all the way through. There's always something that screws it up.
I think I have to go with Willow and Oz. That was the relationship I wanted in high school. A guy who could look at me in all of my awkward, nerdy glory and say "I must get to know her better". They were very cute together for a long time. Unlike most other couples on this show, they got closure on their relationship in New Moon Rising and were able to part as friends.
Which isn't to say that I don't also love Willow and Tara. I've never been one to argue that one or the other was better for Willow, that one or the other should definitely be endgame. I like both of them equally. I just relate to Willow/Oz a bit better.

I'm going for a second Bachelor's degree, I seriously just need to take like... six classes, or something. Maybe nine, I don't know. But not many. It shouldn't be this difficult! And I STILL have to call my college to get transcripts sent, since they changed their website and my old login no longer works, and I hate using the phone. Oh, and yeah, the application deadline is June 1st... who's cutting it super close? Yeah, I started the application in November. Oops. Ah well, there probably isn't even space for me for September so I'll get pushed back to January anyway.
