Spoilers, Sweetie - Prequels Coming Soon

Updates:

It's been confirmed! April 23 is when series 6 is going to start! Also, we have the title for the first episode with 'The Impossible Astronaut.'

New:
The only bit of interesting news I found is that there are going to be three prequel shorts that will premier on the official BBC Doctor Who site 'soon.' From the sound of things they're going to be more like the Tardisodes then 'Meanwhile in the Tardis.' The first one should be up before 'The Impossible Astronaut' airs and may give us a brief glimpse of the adventure's monster.

Is it bad that I kind of want the Slender Man, or some derivation thereof, to feature in this series? I mean, it would probably be completely pants-wettingly terrifying, particularly in Moffat's evil clutches, but it could also be awesome.

I want it too. I would love for Moffat to just scare the pants off of us all, and it's not too terrible for the kids. Some of my favorite movies/books from my childhood scared me to death at the time (HELLO RETURN TO OZ).

Something to add: I posted a picture on the "The Beast Below" post of Moffat tweeting that we may see two Rivers at once in the future. Sorry to anyone who saw it and is avoiding spoilers for S6! Lapse in judgment on my part; I was just too squeeful and wanted to share. Now it could still be Moffat fucking with us, but I'm thinking it's real.

I would accept any way it was done! Two adult River Songs would blow the Doctor's mind and River with her childhood self would be adorable too! (And also blow the Doctor's mind.)
